"I Love to Laugh....Ha Ha Ha Ha"

In our home, growing up, we would watch the same movies over and over and over and get the point...again. It all would depend on which movie was somebody's favorite. Some that I can remember were Bambi, 7 Brides for 7 Brothers, The Sound of Music, Beauty and the Beast and Mary Poppins. Because of this I feel like I could quote entire movies. My mom, sister and I like to play the "what movie is this line from" game. They are much better at it then I am but one thing that did stick with me...the songs. The laughing song from Mary Poppins was always one of my favorites which seems appropriate these days because I laugh at everything. Or so I'm told. I have always thought Joe was funny. I love his sense of humor and he can always get a chuckle out of me. But lately, he cracks me up all day long, I mean hysterical laughter. So the other night Sara was out with us and the same thing happened. Little did I know that when I got up to go the bathroom (shocker I know) they made a bet to see who could make me crack up first. Sara said something to him like "wow, I must be really funny, because Melissa is laughing at everything I say." Joe burst her bubble and told her he thinks it is a side effect of pregnancy and not to get a big head:) Well I guess I have noticed that I've been laughing a lot but in their defense they really are pretty funny.
At least I am laughing all the time....and not crying or being witchy:)

A Watched Pot Never Boils

Still no baby....
No contractions....
No dilating....

I'm not complaining because his desire to stay warm in cozy in my belly has given us time to finish up things we put off until the last taking child birth classes at the hospital. Some might call it procrastination but we like to think that by waiting until the last minute the information will be fresher in our minds:) Tomorrow we take a nursing class...Joe is "thrilled" about that one. Actually he is being a good sport about all of it. He was a trooper and sat through the two, 4 hour sessions of the birth class. I think we both learned a lot and feel better prepared for some an idea of what to expect when it is go time. And Joe being Joe kept me giggling through all of it. His expressions and questions were priceless. One of his favorite things he should practice their Kegals too!

We are so excited for Baby Vega to arrive....still no name....but when he gets here we hope he enjoys sleeping in this...
And swinging/bouncing in this...
Strolling in this...

And cruising in the Tahoe in this...

This little guy already has so many cool things! He is going to be set and very well dressed might I add! We feel so blessed with the abundance of baby showers that were held in our honor!
Thank you to everyone and their generosity and of course for those that made it all happen:
My Mom for our Ohio shower
Amber for the Utah shower
Kami and Marci for our AZ shower
Joe's Team at work
The Academic Counselors & Directors in the International Division
And the UOP Student Services Directors

6 showers...BEYOND BLESSED!!! We received the coolest gifts from family and friends including gift cards that allowed us to buy some of the bigger items.

So only 6 more days until the due date and we can't wait to see this cute little face...

And kiss these cute little feet (shaped just like Daddy's)
